Swatch was a significant brand for older generations, but it no longer resonates with younger audiences. While analog watches are distinct from smartwatches, the market for smartwatches is growing rapidly. Swatch missed an opportunity by not launching a smart version of their watches; however, this decision has helped them solidify their position as a luxury mechanical watch brand.
