When Marco approached me, he had an excellent cover for the book he had been working on for so long: a very old photo of Leon de Greiff, the subject of his book. He just had one problem: the photo quality was less than ideal for print. Since Marco was attached to this image and thought it represented his work very well, I suggested an alternative.
